Prime Minister Sheikh Haslna yesterday called on President Zillur Rahman at Bangabhaban and apprised him of (he outcome of participation of Bangladesh delegation led by her in the just-concluded World Climate Conference-3 in Geneva.

On the occasion, the PM briefed the president about the events of the conference, her programmes at the climate meet and her Important bilateral talks with world leaderships, including United Nations Secretary-General Ban Id-Moon.

statement urged the international community, specially the resourceful nations, to "help Bangladesh financially and technologically in tackling the challenges of the climate change"

The president told the prime minister that he was very happy to learn (hat global leadership highly praised her role and statement at the Conference.

He hoped that the world community would "come forward to help the developing countries for adapting themselves to the adverse affects of the climate change" through realising the statement of Hasina presentedat the conference.
