The government yesterday handed over 24 cheques to different branches of Agrani Bank. Rupali Bank. Janata Kink and Sonali Bank to provide the teachers and employees of nongovernment schools, colleges and madrasas with bonus on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The teachers and staff will be able to draw the bonus from the banks though their respective bank account till September 17, said a government handout yesterday.
