Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal hit 72 as Bangladesh drew their lone three-day warm-up match of their tour of the Caribbean against West Indies A at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Sunday.

After a poor first innings, the Bangladeshi batsmen got themselves some useful batting practice on the final day against the second string West Indies side ahead of the firstTest which starts on July 9 at the Amos Vale Sports Complex in St. Vincent.

It was a satisfactory day for the tourists after they were dismissed for 195 on Day One. with most of their remaining recognised batsmen spending time at the crease.

The Bangladeshis rallied through a century opening stand between Tamim and Irnrul Kayes.

Tamim struck nine fours from 153 balls in close to 3-112 hours, as the tourists, trailing by 53 runs on first innings, reached 233 for five in their second innings when the match drew to a close on the ihird and final day.
