With a hope to make a Super Eights berth. Bangladesh will kick-off their campaign in the ICC World Twenty20 Cup by taking on defending champions India at Trent Bridge in Nottingham today.

The Tigers are grouped with India and Ireland, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the Super Eights stage of cncket's shortest version's extravaganza.

The match will start at 11pm Bangladesh standard time with state-run Bangladesh Television (BTV) and STAR Sports beaming live coverage.

It will be the first T20 battle with India for the Tigers, who made it to the second round in the first version of the tournament in 2007 by beating West Indies.

Bangladesh's morale is high despite losing their two official warm-up matches against Australia and Sri Lanka as Mohammad Ashraful's men showed their potential in both the matches as well as in the unofficial practice game against New Zealand.
