The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday advised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to invite the chief executive of New Zealand Cricket (NZC), Justin Vaughan to have a ground zero assessment on the security situation prevalent in the country before the Kiwi's planned Test tour later this year.

Pakistan cricket has been hit hard by security problems with many international teams refusing to tour the country and the ICC also relocating the Champions Trophy from Pakistan on similar ground.

But International Cricket Council General Manager, Cricket, Dave Richardson said to avoid the repetition of such incident during the New Zealand series slated for December, the PCB needs to invite Vaughan well in advance so that he can assess the security scenario and arrangements for the tour.
