Aminul Haque and Nilufar Karim have been elected president and general secretary of Bangladesh Sangbad Pathak Samity for the years 2009-1010 at its 12th Annual General Meeting in the city recently.

Other office bearers are Vice Presidents Ruxana Anowar and Dewan Saidul Hasan, Treasurer Salahud Din Ahmed, Organising Secretary Rehana Parwin, Cultural Secretary Shireen Sheila, Office Secretary Zinat Rehana Luna, International Secretary Mohammad Zahirul Alam, Assistant General Secretary Rana Ahmed and Members Munmun Rahman, Khaled Masood Ahmed Khan, Syed Enamul Huq, Mir Nasir Ahmed and M Obaidur Rahman.

All the members of the executive committee were elected unopposed, says a press release.
