FBCCI has assured industry owners that it would negotiate with the government soon to solve the problem regarding persistent lack of gas supply in the industrial units.

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) sought cooperation of those industry owners who are sitting idle on their imported machinery due to inadequate or a total lack of gas

supply during its negotiation with the government, said a press statement on Wednesday.

Secretary of FBCCI Mir Shahabuddin Mohammad requested these industry owners to submit import documents of machinery and other relevant documents to the apex trade body to make the negotiation easy and effective.

The press statement also said production in the gas-run industrial units is hampered to a great extent.
