The Co-Chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif are sure that the number of anti-Musharraf members of the parliament will reach 350 within one week.

These two leaders have chalked out a "war strategy" to impeach President Pervez Musharraf after consulting the leadership of Awami National Party, Jamiat Ulema Islam and members from the tribal areas.

He assured Zardari that Senator Saleem Saifullah Khan of PML-Q will vote against Musharraf. Asif Ali Zardari has sent a special messenger to London for meeting MQM Chief Altaf Hussain. PPP Co-Chairperson was sure that MQM is their coalition partner in the provincial government of Sindh province and something positive may come out of his recent contacts with Altaf Hussain. Asif Ali Zardari told this scribe. "I will request my brother Altaf Hussain that if he cannot support us then at least he should remain neutral." He was also sure that "more than 350membersofthe parliament will vote against Musharraf".

Reliable sources claimed that Senator Mir Israr Ullah Zerhri will meet Asif Ali Zardari soon along with five other PML-Q senators. PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif also assigned his colleagues to contact

PML-Q senators and MNA's to vote against President Pervez Musharraf. PML-N Secretary Information Ahsan Iqbal claimed that they will secure the support of at least 7 PML-Q senators and more than 10 MNA's within a few days. Ruling alliance leaders are of the view that if there will be an open voting against Musharraf then the number of votes may exceed 350 because opposition members of the parliament from Baluchistan and NWFP cannot support Musharraf openly.
