A gang of unidentified miscreants slabbed a private security supervisor to death at Shewrapara of Mirpur in the city early hours of yesterday night

The deceased was identified as Abdul Motaleb, 40, of Orient Security Service. I Ie died on the spot at West Shewrapara at around 2:30am.

The victim's brother Mohammad Selim, a security guard working at Shlctech King Cottage at West Shewrapara, told The Daily Star that he ran outside hearing someone screaming. Reaching the spot, he saw his brother was shouting in wounds.

"He could only tell that three to four miscreants, stabbed him when he came to the place," Selim said.

Selim suspected that his brother could be killed in connection with internal clashes of the security company.
