As per the un-audited accounts, the net profit and earning per share of MIDAS Financing Ltd stood at Tk45,878,143.77 and Tk17.74 during the last six months of 2006 compared to Tk29,318,785.00 and Tk12.47 during the corresponding period of the previous year.

The disclosure was made at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Monday, says a press release.

The meeting approved the unaudited half yearly accounts of the company for the period from July 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006.
