The caretaker government yesterday shuffled and transferred four secretaries to different ministries.

According to an establishment ministry circular, SM Zafar Ullah of Housing and Public Works Ministry was swapped with AK Motaher Hossain of Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry, while Luthfar Rahman Talukder of Land Ministry with AFM Matiur Rahman of Rural Development and Cooperatives Division.

Meanwhile, in a separate circular, the ministry reinstated Col Salahuddin Ahmed, who was serving as the director of Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) on deputation, to his job at the Armed Forces Division.

In another circular of the ministry, Bepza secretary Sayed Ahmed was made officer on special duty (oSD).
