To celebrate the month of Victory, Nitya upohar is holding a display of attire with the theme of our motherland, our compatriots, National Language, War of Independence and humanity. Nitya upohar calls it the “M Series”.

For the first time shawls will be included in Nitya upohar's exhibit. Five types of shawls feature designs by noted artistes: Bango bhandarey tobo bibidho ratan by Dhrubo Esh, Mother Teresa by Gautam Chakravarty, Bangladesher nodi by Sabyasachi Hazra, Barnamala by Anisuzzaman Sohel and Pataka by Bahar Rahman. using screen print and applique, the designs have been featured on grameen khadi.

As usual, Nitya upohar also has t-shirts designed by artistes on this occasion. Dhrubo Esh's designs display two poems by poet Shamsur Rahman Swadhinata tumi and Tomakey paowar jonno hey Swadhinata. Abdul Aziz has designed Birsreshtha, Bangladesh 71 and Spirit of 71 have been done

by Anisuzzaman Sohel. Sabyasachi Hazra's George Harrison and Bahar Rahman's Pataka are also a part of

the collection.

The display will be inaugurated at

Nitya upohar's showroom, Aziz Cooperative Supermarket from December 15.
