President Iajuddin Ahmed and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia felicitated Kenyan President Mwaikibaki on the occasion of Independence Day of the country.

In separate messages to the Kenyan President, Iajuddin and Khaleda said the bilateral relations that so happily exist between the two countries would be further diversified and strengthened to the mutual benefit of the peoples.

Both the President and Prime Minister wished his good health and well-being and continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Kenya.
