Piracy has guile contaminated our audio and video industry. But those who are into this business have decided not to remain quiet anymore.

To protect the true and pure form of music from being pirated, Bangladesh Audio Cassette and CD Producer’s Association is organising a four-day long National Audio Video Music Fair: 2005, says a press release. Co-organised by Dot Events Consortium, the first of its kind, fair is scheduled for June 8-11 at the Bangladesh. China Friendship Conference Centre.

Audio cassettes, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, music player, sound system, musical instruments, computer music system, recording equipment, TV music programmes will be displayed at the fair. Apart from the display, various cultural programmes by the country's leading singers and band groups will feature in th e fair.

Eminent music jrcrsonalities will be awarded too. ,

There will bean Artist Comer at the fair where the audience would'be able to meet their favourite singers.

The proceedings from the fair will be donated for the welfare of singers in distress.
