A four-day international conference on 'Religious militancy and security in South Asia' begins in the city today.

More than a dozen scholars from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and host Bangladesh will take part in the conference organised by the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) in collaboration with German and French embassies.
