The Premier Bank has launched an education credit scheme for the meritorious students pursuing higher education, says a press release.

The main objective of the credit scheme is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students and achieve one of the social welfare objectives of the bank.

Under the programme, undergraduate and graduate students can get loans from the bank without any collateral security.

The loans will be given for admission fees, books and stationery, instruments, monthly fees, examination fees and boarding and lodging.

Undergraduate students having a minimum of 70 percent marks in HSC and SSC examinations can avail themselves of the credit facility while graduate students should have 55 percent marks in degree exams and 70 percent

marks in HSC and SSC exams.
