The newly renovated reception lounge, members lounge, guest lounge, cafeteria and VIP lounge of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) opened on Tuesday.

In his brief speech, JPC General Secretary Shawkat Mahmud said the Jatiya Press Club has been renovated with a view to increasing professional facilities for the members. The development works of the club would also continue, he said.

Later, a munajat was offered and sweets were distributed among the members.

New Age Editor A Z M Enayetullah Khan, Jugantor Editor Golam Sarwar, Managing Director and Chief Editor of BSS Amanullah Kabir, New Nation Editor Alamgir Mohiuddin and former presidents, general secretaries and other senior members were present on the occasion.
