The Saju Art Gallery holds a solo painting exhibition of noted artist Syed Jahangir. With this one, Jahangir will attain the landmark of 33 individual exhibition of his work. . The display is open for all from 10 am to 8 pm daily.

A solo art exhibition of artist Alamgir Kabir will begin at the Institute of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, at 4.00 pm. The show will remain open for all from 2 pm to 7 pm everyday.

Woodcut Print

October 03-14

Alliance Francaise holds a solo woodcut print exhibition by Selina Chowdhury Mili at it's La galerie. The show will be open for all from 9 pm to 12 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm daily. The show will be closed on October 5 and 12.

Nakshikantha

A Nakshikantha exhibition is going on at the BSCIC Design Centre (137/138 Motijheel C/A) which is open for all from 10 am to 7 pm everyday.

October 08-12

La Galeria is presenting an exhibition by German artist Ina Rolshoven. This exhibition had begun on October 8 and will go on till Sunday.

Anniversary

October 10

To mark the seventh founding anniversary of the only musicbased monthly magazine Sargam a get together and a musical programme will take place at the VIP Lounge of the National Press Club at 4 pm.

Film Show

October 20

The film War and Peace' will be screened at the auditorium of the Russian Cultural Centre to mark the birth anniversary of great Russian film director and actor Sergei Bondarchuk in cooperation with Sergei Bondarchuk film club, at 3 p.m.

October 27

A documentary film show dedicated to the international tourism day will be held at the library of the Russian Cultural Centre. The films are Architectural Monuments of the Old Moscow' and 'Russian Museum', at 11a.m.
