Baghdad is being burnt to ashes and so are the hearts of the millions all over the world. The conscientious people of the world could never accept this unjust and unequal war, nay, brazen invasion unleashed by the neo-imperialists against the innocent people of Iraq.

The sagacious members of the Security Council, viz, Russia, China, and France, responding to the conscience of their respective peoples and also the people of the world, took a historic position not to support such cowardly intrigues against Iraq. Obviously, their far-sighted stand has been acclaimed by all the sensible people around the globe, irrespective of national boundaries. People are coming out on the streets of the major cities of the world, including those of the US and UK to protest against the literal genocide in Iraq. But at this critical juncture of Iraq and its bleeding people, mere condemnations, protest marches, and the vetoes at the Security Council are not enough to save millions of lives in Iraq.

While the brave people of Iraq are fighting to the last drop of their blood against an unequal enemy of tremendous technological superiority, they cannot be expected to continue for an indefinite period. I would therefore urge all the nations of the world including Russia, China, and France (three permanent members of the UN) to take an united and effective stand against the Bush-Blair coalition, even if it involves the use of force. As a first step, the people of Iraq should be given immediate assistance in terms of food and arms, so that they can withstand the history's most brutish blitz. If it is not done, the evil coalition will engulf the countries like Iran, Syria, and North Korea in the second round and eventually, having further consolidating its position as a "super terror," swallow up the whole world in the third round. So, in order to prevent global destabilisation, it is imperative to contain this monster without further loss of time.
