Arifur Rahman, a calligraphy artist holds his fifth solo exhibition at the lobby of National Museum in the city. The exhibition displays around fifty works of the artist, which have been done in Arabic and Bangla.

Cultural evening May 5

A cultural ceremony will be held at the auditorium of Osmany Memorial Hall in the city as part of the ongoing 'Bangladesh Muktijuddho Utsav'. Events will start from 7:00 p.m.

Featuring recent artworks, the 32nd solo art exhibition by Syed Jahangir started at the Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts.The exhibition will continue everyday from 12 - 8 p.m.

Shahriar's fourth solo

A weeklong painting exhibition by Shabin Shahriar opens at Zainul Gallery of Fine Arts Institute, University of Dhaka. Artists Abdus Sattar and Professor Abdul Matin Sarkar inaugured the exhibition.

Ahmed Nazir's print exhibition May 3 to 12

City's Gallery Chitrak presents a ten day long print exhibition by Ahmed Nazir from May 3 at its premises, House #21, Road # 4, Dhanmondi R/A. Eminent artists Mohammad Kibria and Shahid Kabir attended the inauguration. The show is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
