French footballing superstar Zinedine Zidane could be ruled out of Real Madrid's crucial La Liga clash with Real Mallorca on Sunday because of the sore ribs that forced him off during Wednesday's Champions League semifinal with Barcelona.

The 29-year-old's participation in the match, which Real need to win and hope leaders Valencia slipup at Malaga to give them a chance of retaining the title in the last match of the season, will be decided during Saturday's training session.

Madrid's medical staff said the injury was not serious.
