Bangladesh Naw ships during their fortnight-long patrol in the coastal areas recovered smuggled goods worth about I k 58.32 laklt.

I he contraband seized by the ships operating from both Chittagong and Khulna Naval areas included Sundari. Keora and other timber, fishes of different species, including Jalka. and fishing nets, an ISPR press release said.

I he Naw personnel also im-pounded 19 mechanised boats during the drive. * f

The seized goods, boats and fishermen were later handed over io the authorities concerned for legal action.
