Narayanganj district administration yesterday organised a rally to celebrate the golden jubilee of rhe historic language Movement and the International Mother Language Day 2002.

The rally was addressed, among others, by Advocate Abul Kalam MP, Dr Helaluzzaman, Deputy Commissioner, Znnatul Hoq, ADC (General), Shafiqul Islam, Police Super, Advocate Zakir Hossain, president of Narayanganj District Krishak Dal. and Sunizzamal, convenor of Narayanganj District Sechchasebak Dal.

Speakers at the rally paid glowing tributes to the memory of the martyrs of Language Movement.

The rally was followed by a colourful procession which started from Chashara Shaheed Zia Hall and ended at Ali Ahmed Chunka Paura Library.
