The President and Executive Director of ORBIS International, Kathy Spahn, arrives in the city today to visit the Bangladesh Country Office and observe its activities in the country. It is (he lirst visit of an ORBIS President in Bangladesh after the establishment of its country office here in mid 1999. says a press release.

During her visit, Spahn will call on government high officials, ambassadors of different countries that provide support to ORBIS's work, and (he key personalities of the ophthalmic community.

She will also visit some ORBIS supported projects in Bangladesh, filly Stephens, ORBIS Vice President, Programme and Patricia Chew, ORBIS Vice President. Asia will accompany her during the visit.
