Middle-order Khaled Mahmud, who put on a valuable 72 runs for the sixth wicket with Hasanuz-zaman, was caught and bowled for 33.

Ramzan then removed dangerman Hasanuzzaman (86) and lower-order Mukter Siddique (7) with successive deliveries in (he next over. He captured two more wickets with the first two balls of the third over.

Hasanuzzaman, the in-form middle-order who shared a 110-run fourth wicket partnership with veteran Athar Ali (65) after Biman lost their third wicket on 29, was brilliantly taken by makeshift wicketkeeper Mazharul Haque while Mukter pulled into the safe hands of Monir at deep square leg.

Hasan, the right-hand middleorder, took 118 balls for his magnificent 86 which included two sixes and seven boundaries. On the other hand, Athar faced 92 balls for his 65 that included a six and five fours.

Tarun’s other medium-pacer Monir took three for 49.

Earlier, electing lo bat first, Tarun's 247 for nine was built : )uud fifties from man-of-the match Ramzan and Iqbal Sheikh.

Ramzan scored 60 off 82 balls with a six and half a dozen boundaries while his compatriot Iqbal hammered a 52-ball 53 with seven boundaries.
