Bangladesh begin their maiden tour of Zimbabwe with a limited-overs match against the (H Academy at the Alexander Sports ( lub ground on Wednesday.

The warm-up match ahead of the one-day series starting on April 7. will give Naimur Rahman's men an opportunity to gel accustomed to the local c onditions.

The national team practised tor two hours at the HRC ground on Tuesday afternoon. The lush green ground with a capacity of 10,000 is a sjght to behold. It boasts excellent

Skipper Naimur meanwhile looked more concerned about the one-day series than the practice game.

There arc possibilities of playing young players like Ashraful, Sharif and Musnfiqur Rahman in the practice match. But then we will also nave to consider that we do not have enough practice matches for others to gel tne feel of the conditions here," he said.

Although the Academy team comprises upcoming players and the match would not draw any crowd, Zimbabwe captain Heatn Streak said that they would closely observe (he game to gel to know about the Bangladeshi players.
