With his day's work done at a restaurant in London, Shiblu Rahman, father of two. was on his way home around midnight on Sunday last. He never imagined he would not see his kidsagain.

The 34-year-old Bangladeshi expatriate drove safely up to his apartment and parked the car in front of his flat at Rownton Road in East London.

Before Jong, three white racists appeared on the scene and stabbed Shiblu indiscriminately at about 12:30 am when he was walking towards his flat.

Hearing his scream for help, one of his neighbours informed police who rushed to (he spot and took badly injured Shiblu to he Royal London Hospital. Shiblu succumbed to his injury two and a half hours after admission to the hospital.

A pal of gloom descended on the Bangladeshi community at the brutal murder of Shiblu, a victim of racial hatred.

The Bangladeshi community al a press conference has demanded that the killers be punished and racism dealt with.

They were learnt to be preparing for stronger protest against the gruesome killing of Shiblu who hailed from Mewa village in Beanibazar upazila of Sylhet.

A spokesman of detective police here admitted that Shiblu has been victim of racism.

According to his family sources, before Shiblu died he identified ihe attackers as racist youths.
