Pakistan legend Imran Khan has lambasted ihe International (Ticket Council (ICC) for its han dling of suspected bowling actions.

Khan, one of the greatest all rounders of all lime and a veteran of 88 Tests, said the laws regarding throwing needed to be revised, and said that umpires need to react to controversy during the match, not alter. His statements came alter umpires Doug Cowie and Steve Dunne reported Shoaib Akhtar of bowling with a suspect action in Thursday's GDI against New Zealand.

"I just don't understand why (the ICC) does not simplify the rule which constitutes chucking.’ Imran told on Friday.

"Similarly, Waqar and Azhar were penalised by (he match referee despite the fact that the umpires in the centre neither changed (he ball nor reported the mallei."
