Bangladesh will receive 15 million Canadian dollars (about Taka 53 crore) as grant for legal reforms in the country.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on “fhe Legal Reform Project" was signed between Bangladesh and Canada in the city on Thursday.

I RD Secretary Dr Masihur Rahman and Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh David Preston signed the MOU on behalf of their respective governments.

Under the project, Canada will provide the amount as technical assistance over a period ol live year, a press release said tonight.
