The 24 th Science and Technology Exhibition Week-2001 began in Narayanganj yesterday at Narayanganj College.

Organised by Narayanganj District Administration, the weeklong exhibition is being participated by about 23 schools, col leges and clubs of the district to create mass awareness about expansion of modern science and technology in the country.

Attractive stalls were set up in the classrooms of the college by the respective institutions.

The innovative skills of the young students in making solar train, low cost decoration light. Periscope, low cost cake oven, low cost battery charger and advertisement machine attracted a large number of visitors in the exhibition.

The Week was inaugurated b\ A.K.M. Shamim Osman MP as the chief guest. The function was addressed, among others, by Golam Morshed Faruqi, a former MP, C.Q.K. Mustak D.C. Narayanganj, Zannatul Hoq ADC (General) and Mohammed Hussain Principal Narayanganj.
