A Bangladesh Biman employee filed a complaint case under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in the CMM's court on Tuesday against three military personnel for harassing him in November last year.

According to plaintiff Motiur Rahman, he went to Kachukhet Bazar on November 24 last year at he ^afty ^tar

around 12:30pm when Sergeant Shafiullah stopped him for riding a motorbike inside the bazaar and ordered him to go to the MP checkpost. Motiur refused saying that he didn't break any law as he had gotten down from the bike before entering the bazaar and pushed it instead.

The sergeant then left and came back shortly with Lt. Col Mohiuddin, Major Mamun and seven military policemen and cordoned off the bazaar.

At this, the Motiur was scared and went to a nearby shop to make a phone call for help. But on his return, he could not find his motor-

bike where he had kept Tk 50,000 inside the toolbox.

Shopkeepers and local people told him that the military policemen brought by Lt. Col. Mohiuddin took away the bike in a pick-up. Motiur immediately called the OC of Kafrul thana and informed him about the matter.

The complainant filed a General Diary with Kafrul thana after the incident but Kafrul police allegedly is not taking any action in this regard.

The complainant also urged the court to give him police protection as he alleged that ever since the incident occurred, DGFI men and military policemen are seen loitering around his house. Also, he said that Lt. Col. Mohiuddin filed a false case against him. He urged the court to order proper investigation into the matter.
