KHULNA, Dec 11: Rafiqul Islam Hiller alias Russel has confessed lo police that he had sprayed bullets from AK-56 rifle on Mir Elias Hossain Dilip of Jhenldah this year.

Ilie first bullet was fired by Tapan, the custodian of maximum arms and ammunition of Pnrbo Banglar Communist Party, Hitler told police during Interrogation on Sunday night.

He was arrested at West Baniakhamsur early Sunday morning along with expelled JCD leader Ravvshan Zaman Mithu.

Hitler has been taken on six days remand with effect from today In connection with Ganesh murder case.

Ganesh, also on armed cadre of PBCP was slaughtered and shot dead as a sequel to intra-party rivalry.

He also confessed his direct involvement in the killing of Awami League leader Hasan Tarafdar and Bikash Borhol of Chhatra League committed last year at Daulatpur. Police said Hitler was also involved in several other murders including the killing of AL Mayoral candidate SMARob.

A professional killer of PBCP. Hitler told police that the conspiracy to murder Mir Elias Hossain Dilip was hatched at Phultala. We are five to implement the plan. We started from Phultala and went into hiding after finishing Dilip, Hitler said.
