Chairman of Sammilita Muktijoddha Front Dr. SA Malek yesterday called upon freedom fighters and people to resist unitedly the nefarious plots and acts of the anil-liberation forces who are trying to turn Ilie country Into a colony of Pakistan, reports BSS.

In an Interview with Die news agency yesterday he said these forces are making calculated, audacious ri-marks as part of their machinations to bring back the country lo the old days of Pakistani subjugation.

They are dreaming to create a situation In the country lo oust the democratically elected government and Install in its place a pro-Pakistani government. Dr, Malek, who Is also the Political Adviser to the Prime Minister, said.

He said raising of Pakistani flag, making parody of the national anthem, audacious remarks by Pakistani diplomat Irfan Raja on the War of Liberation and Dhaka University teacher Dr. Aftab Ahmed's com ment lo change national anthem are very much linked with their

act to Implement the evil design.

He said the recent outburst of national anger al die audacious remarks of Irfan Raja and Aftab is a convincing Indicator of how much the people of Bangladesh loathe the anil-liberation attl tude. The outburst acted as a dividing line between ihe servants of Pakistan and pro-llbcratlon forces, he added.

Condemning the remarks of Irfan Raja and Dr. Aftab, Dr. Malek said their ill temper, misdemeanour and uncivil tongue clearly disqualify them for diplomatic service and teaching profession respectively.
