The minister said the government has exempted lax on Importing computer and declared the IT Sector as a Thrust Sector considering the bright prospects of it.

"We have joined the IT sector when the whole world was bathing In IT sea, he said adding that the government has introduced various courses on computer to overcome the backwardness in the sector.

Expressing his hope to join the Global Information Super Highway next year, Khan said the country should take preparation to join the highway from now.

The minister called upon the local and foreign investors to come forward for developing and flourishing the sector.

Earlier, the minister inaugurated the Wintech E-Commerce and offered Fateha at the Mazar of Hazrat Shah Jalal and Hazrat Shah Poran.
