Bangladesh Is deeply concerned at the recent escalation of violence tn Palestinian territories and joins the Muslim Ummah in condemning in the strongest terms the Israeli brutalities in the occupied Arab area, according to an UNB report from Doha.

“We would once again like to reiterate our continued support to the struggle of the Palestinian brothers for their legitimate and inalienable rights, including the right to establish an independent state of their own with Jerusalem as its capital and the right of refugees to return to their ancestral homes to live with honour and dignity." said Foreign Minister Abdus Samad Azad.

The Bangladesh FM made the cogent statement on the raging Middle East crisis at a preparatory ministerial meeting of the 9' session of the Islamic Summit Conference at Doha, State of Qatar on Thursday.

Dhaka also called upon the world community at large to put increasing pressure on Israel to refrain from these brutalities as well as from any measures, including building of new establishments. that seek to alter the religious, ethnic and |x»li(i cal character of the occupied Arab territories, including East Jerusalem and holy places.
