A new forum of the country's freedom fighters named Freedom Fighters Council (FFC) was formed yesterday with a view to enhance freedom fighters contributions In the country's overall development.

The FFC. formed at a meeting of freedom fighters with veteran freedom fighter Lt Col (Reid) Kazi Nooruzzaman In the chair, will enhance communication and cooperate among freedom fighters families.

All sector troops. KS Force, Z Force under the exile Bangladesh government and all freedom fighters will be able to become a member of the forum, a press release said yesterday.

A 13-member committee was formed with Lt Col (Retd) Kazi Nooruzzaman as convenor. Noyeeni Jahangir and Major (Retd) Syed Munlbor Rahman as joint convenor. Other members of the committee are. The council will hold regular monthly meeting on (he first Saturday of each month at 5:00 pm at the seminar room of Ganoshastha Kendro.
