A peaceful sit-in demonstration was held yesterday in front of the Japanese embassy at Baridhara demanding waiving of all foreign debts of the third world countries uu hiding Bangladesh under the global campaign 'Jubilee 2000 Coalition.' reports UNB.

People from all walks of life including NGO activists, educationists. economists, professionals and social workers joined the demonstration, organised by Campaign for Cancellation of Foreign Debt.
