CIRDAP' (SWAC) A five-member ad-hoc committee will run the activities of SWAC till the election of a new executive committee Is held. The office bearers of the ad-hoc committee are :

The Director General of CIRDAP will act as ex-officio Patron-In-Chief of SWAC.

A memorial meeting In honour of Language veteran Kamar Uddin Chowdhury was held at Ahar Bilash Restaurant in the city on Saturday, says a press release.

The memorial meeting and rnllad mahjll was organised by Dhaka-based Chandpur District Awami Forum.

Bangladesh Institute of Peace (BIP) held a seminar on "Bangladesh in the 21st Century: Hopes Prospects" in observance of their 5th founding anniversary, says a press release.

Industries Minister Tofail Ahmed was chief guest at the function State Minister for Environment and Forests UN Ashiqur Rahman & Dr Atlur Rahman were special guest and guest of honour respectively at the programme.
