M A Mannan, a freedom fighter of Sector-2 [No 010707349) and father of two school-going children has been suffering from serious heart ailments. Doc tors of different national medical Institutions have determined that Mannan has three blockages of which two are one hundred per cent blocked while another 85 per cent. He needs immediate open heart surgery, they advised.

Mannan has already had three heart attacks and the expensive treatment has left him empty-handed. He now needs about Tk I lakh for the surgery and has appealed to all. including the Prime Minister, to help him
