A preparatory meeting for proposed South Asian Judicial seminar is scheduled to be held on May 13 and 14 hi the capital, official sources said yesterday.

Chief Justices of four South Asian countries along with top ranking experts of legal profession from other countries will participate in the programme organised Jointly by Supreme Court of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST).

Dr Justice S Anand. Chief Justice of India. Keshav Prasad Upadhaya Chief Justice of Nepal. Sarath de Silva Chief Justice of Sri Lanka, Latifur, Rahman, Chief Justice .of Bangladesh. Nasr Aslam Zahid, (retd) former Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan. PN Bhag-watl, vice chairman UN Human Rights Committee of International Tribunals are scheduled to participate in the programme.

Other prominent judges of high court and supreme courts along with experts of legal profession from the South Asian countries are also expected to participate in the meeting, sources noted.
