The British entrepreneurs arc interested to invest In agriculture. gas. power and textile sectors In Bangladesh and the companies are preparing to move their business here finding the prospect bright, reports UNB.

This was informed by British High Commissioner Dr David Carter during his meeting with Industries Minister ToTail Ahmed at his office yesterday.

Welcoming the newly appointed High Commissioner, the minister said he hoped to see more UK investors coming to Bangladesh.

UK has been supporting Bangladesh since the Liberation War and relationship be-I tween the two countries deepened over the years. Tofail added.

David Carter estimated his country's investment in I Bangladesh at 500 million Ijpounds sterling.
