The Anti-Fascism Democratic Committee yesterday staged a demonstration in the city to protest the alleged attempt to handover Bangladesh's natural resources to multi-national companies in the name of foreign investment.

The committee organised a rally at Muktangan also to protest US President Bill Clinton's visit to Bangladesh and the evil design to loot oil and gas resources as well as to occupy the Chittagong Port by foreign companies.
