NARAYANGANJ. Feb 1: The district and sessions Judge Abdul Mukit Mojumder today rejected the bail petition of the three defendants In the sensational Mummy Murder Case this morning.

The lawyers of the defen-dants prayed for ball of the husband, mother-in-law and sister-In-law of housewife Mummy.

The public prosecutor and the lawyer of the plaintiff, strongly opposed the petition of bail and said, the three are guilty of the murder of an innocent housewife who was pregnant.

The court fixed the next date of hearing on February 17.

On October 30. 1999. the housewife Mummy was murdered at her fatner-in-laws house. The husband of the deceased Ripon confessed earlier to the charge of murder.
