Dhaka University Teachers' Association (DUTA). in a statement yesterday, hailed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her dialogue proposal with the opposition to ease the prevailing political situation in the country, reports BSS.

Anarchic situation emerged out of the opposition called hartals has hindered the economic activities as well as educational atmosphere, and made the normal life unbearable, said the statement.

The university teachers association called upon the opposition political parties to sit with the elected government to free the nation from Such a situation.

Zonta Club-IV

Zonta Club IV of Dhaka celebrated the 80th founding anniversary of Zonta International during their regular general meeting recently, says a press release.

At the meeting, the club took up various activities including

contribution of Zakat funds . for their different social service projects including treatment of acid burn victims and vocational training for destitute women.

The meeting was followed by a raffle draw.
