The 42nd death anniversary of Major A Ghani, the founder of The East Bengal Regiment, will be observed today. On this day in 1957 this valiant son of the soil popularly known as Tiger Ghani" whose memorable deeds of valour are recounted even today with great respect and honour died, says a press release.
