A two-week course on Foreign Trade and Foreign Exchange' organised by Social Investment Bank Ltd (SIBL) was formally inaugurated yesterday by M M Nurul Haque. Managing Director of the bank, says a press release.

In his inaugural speech. Nurul Haque stressed the need for training specially on specialised subjects such as foreign trade and foreign exchange.

He said that there was no alternative to training, which is a continuous process and the participants would be higbi” benefited by undergoing the training course and be able to develop themselves profes sionalfy.

He also advised the trainees tb be punctual in attendance, attentive to the training programme and training instructions properly to make the course fruitful and meaningful.

The inaugural function was also addressed by Abdur Rahman Chisty and Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Executive Vice Presidents of the Bank. Matiur Rahman, Sr Vice President. Hedayetul Haque. Academic Consultant, and the chief coordinator of the course.
