CHITTAGONG. Sept 8 : Passengers of a bus today Ibned an attempt of dacoity and caught seven of the gangsters who were handed over to police after a mob beating, reports UNB.

The police and witnesses said about 10 dacoits in the guise of passengers boarded a bus of Uttara Paribahan from Sitakundu at 2 pm.

As the bus crossed Barabkundu. the dacoits held passenger Nuruzzaman and his wife hostage at gun point and demanded ornaments and cash from them. When the driver stopped the bus, some of the passengers caught seven of the dacoits.
