KATHMANDU, Sept 8 : Indian Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh arrived here Wednesday for a four-day official visit, reports AFP:

Singh is scheduled to hold discussions with Nepalese Prime Minisster Krishna Prasad Bhattarai. Home Minister Puma Bahadur Khadga, Commerce Minister Ram Krishna Tamrakar and Foreign Minister Ram Sharan Mahat, as well as meet King Bireindra .

He is also due to meet Minister for Water Resources Govinda Raj Joshi, president of the ruling Nepali Congress G.P. Koirala, and the leader of the opposition Nepal Communist Party-United Marxist and Leninist, Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Nepalese Foreign Ministry sources said issues to be discussed would likely include the border between the countries, and bilateral cooperation for development of trade.’
