The lucky draw of Novartis World Cup Cricket '99 Quiz Contest was held on September 5, 1999 at the Novartis Head Office premises. This program was graced by National Professor M.R. Khan and the Acting Editor of the Daily Ittefaq, Mr. Rahat Khan as guest of honour. Managing Director of Novartis Bangladesh Limited Mr. Gerhard G Doege was also present on the occasion. Among other executives of the company Mr. Sarwar Ahmed, Sector Head of Crop Protection Sector, Mr. Ashfaque ur Rahman, Head of Human Resources, Mr. Mansur Alam, Head of Sales, Dr. S.T. Hoque, Medical Director, Mr. K. Anam, Business Development Manager, Mr. Nadeem Firdousi, Head of Portfolio Management of Novartis were also present. This program, was conducted by Portfolio Manager Mr. Salim Solaiman. The quiz contest was organized by Novartis Bangladesh Limited only for the doctors and their family members during last world cup cricket of the millennium.
