Malaysia beat hosts Brunei 2-0 but it was not enough to get one of the two qualifying places from Group, which were taken by the Indonesians and Singapore.

Thailand's English coach Peter Withe warned his champions against over-confidence.

'We’ll be going all out for a win." he said, adding that Myanmar "will want to leave the tournament on a high note."

Myanmar, on four points, are still in with a mathematical chance — provided they defeat the Thais and the Filipinos score 11 goals without a Vietnamese reply.

"I'm not particularly bothered by who we play in the semifinals." Withe said. "We just want to get the win and first place if possible."
